Mpenja Aids Care & Counselling Organization is a charity community based organization operating in Mpenja Sub County in Mpigi District Uganda.It was established in December 2000 by 24 counselling aides as founder members from the parishes of Kakomo and Kiriri in Mpenja sub County,Gomba County in Mpigi District.These counseling aides were trained by Gomba AIDS and Counselling Organisation (GASCO) under the auspices of Action Aid Uganda.

The number of Counselling Aides steadily increased to 54 by 2001.To date,the total membership of MPACCO is 31 members and 15 Parish Volunteers.

MPACCO’s primary beneficiaries include:-

Persons Living With AIDS (PLWAs)

The Youth

The Orphans

Home Care givers,Guardians,stakeholders and the wider community constitute the secondary beneficiaries.
